Alex has had over 13 years of insightful experience in the software industry as UI Designer and Developer, with leadership roles in Web Design and Development, Marketing, R&D, Customer Service, and Business Development.

Today, Alex is employed as Sr. User Inter face designer and front end developer with Cisco Systems, Bangalore. Over the past 6 years he had the enriching opportunity to work with Cross Functional Teams at Cisco and to be part of the Web, Marketing and Operations teams. He gained in depth knowledge while working closely with the leadership team of Cisco WebEx on key design & technology projects globally. Alex has successfully handled dozens of projects on webex.com, international sites, as well as internal sites. These projects include static sites, fully dynamic applications, and mobile friendly interfaces.

Alex designed and developed Cisco WebEx applications, Cisco WebEx 4.0 website and Enterprise Content Management Strategy. His creative and innovative ideas helped to improve the simple and spectacular design of the UI for completing Cisco WebEx Connects business applications, Cisco WebEx Buy Online, Cisco WebEx Free Trial Applications, and Cisco WebEx Applications in Smartphone (Apple Mobile Devices, BlackBerry Smartphone and Other Smartphone), Cisco WebEx Resource Sharing and Project Management Application. He actively supports web globalization for WebEx.com 4.0 International Launches. Alex regularly researches all options before developing the best alternative solutions.

Prior to Cisco Systems, Alex had worked with BrightSword Technologies, Bangalore and was responsible for creating spectacular UI designs and front end development for the RAD tool Bright Sword Designer, besides client side projects. He played an instrumental role as Graphics Designer and Team lead.

Preceding his stint with BrigSword, Alex led the Web Design and development team at Advanced Integrated Technologies and Systems, Cochin. He acquired hands on experience while working on Audit Box Web Application UI design and development.

Alex started his career in 1998 with Real Images Visual Media Broadcasting Studio in Trivandrum where he created websites, award winning festival books, advertisements, and 3D titles for the television industry.

Alex is married and living in Bangalore with his wife and 3 children.
